Best Sports Cars

Every single Ferrari ever manufactured, from the 250 GTO to the 206/246 Dino, is a feat of engineering and design. One such Ferrari is the Enzo Ferrari Supercar, which was named one of the top sports cars of the new millennium by Sports Car International magazine in 2004. Named in honor of Enzo Ferrari, who founded the company in 1929, the Enzo Ferrari supercar is indeed super in many respects.

No Lamborghini have ever been produced with less than a V8 engine. Most of the Lamborghini models throughout the history of the company have come with the legendary Lamborghini V12 engine, but the newest model, Gallardo, only have a V10 engine. No Lamborghini models with a V8 engine have been since production of the Silhouette stopped in 1989.

Rolls-Royce Limited was an English car and, later, aero-engine manufacturing company founded by Henry Royce and Charles Stewart Rolls on 15 March 1906 and was the result of a partnership formed in 1904. In 1971, Rolls-Royce was crippled by the development of the advanced RB211 jet engine, resulting in the nationalisation of the company. In 1973, the car division was separated from Rolls-Royce Limited as Rolls-Royce Motors. Rolls-Royce Limited continued as a nationalised company until it was privatised in 1987 as Rolls-Royce plc.

A sports car is an automobile designed for performance driving. Most sports cars are rear-wheel drive, have two seats, two doors, and are designed for precise handling, acceleration, and aesthetics. A sports car's dominant considerations can be superior road handling, braking, maneuverability, low weight, and high power, rather than passenger space, comfort, and fuel economy.

Sports cars can be either luxurious[1] or spartan, but driving mechanical performance is the key attraction. Drivers regard brand name and the subsequent racing reputation and history (for example, Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus) as important indications of sporting quality, but brands such as Lamborghini, which do not race or build racing cars, are also highly regarded.

A car may be a sporting automobile without being a sports car. Performance modifications of regular, production cars, such as sport compacts, sports sedans, muscle cars, hot hatches and the like, generally are not sports cars, yet share traits common to sports cars. Often, performance cars of all configurations are grouped as Sports and GT cars, or, occasionally, as performance cars.

A sports car does not require a large, powerful engine, though many do have them. Some classic British sports cars lacked powerful engines, but were known for exceptional handling due to light weight, a well-engineered, balanced chassis, and modern suspension. On tight, twisting roads, such an automobile performs more effectively than a heavier, more powerful luxury car with less maneuverability.

Due to North American safety regulations, many sports cars are unavailable for sale or use in the United States and Canada. In the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle Eastern market (e.g. UAE), a flexible attitude towards small-volume specialist manufacturers has allowed companies such as TVR, Noble, and Pagani to succeed.

Fuel-Friendly Car

Los Angeles Auto Show will open this Friday at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Well-known car makers, including Honda, Toyota and Ford as well as luxury names like Porsche, Audi and Bentley will be debuting next season's models as well as futuristic concept cars.
The theme of this year's show seems to be fuel efficiency, which only makes sense considering how fickle gas prices are right now. Big trucks and huge SUVs are basically non-existant on the show-room floor, replaced by hybrids and fuel-friendly cars like the newly debuted Nissan Clube a battery powered electric car, which looks very much like a cube. Surprise!Honda will unveil a fuel cell concept car called the FC Sport. Although it would be cool to see some hydrogen powered sports cars, the FC Sport is pretty ugly. It's sleek, and kind of cool, but its design might be a little too modern for the current car buyer. What is awesome is the interior, which was modeled after the McLaren F1, with the driver seated in the center of the vehicle and passengers on each side.
Not making a significant appearance this year are General Motors and Chrysler. Both companies are facing a significant financial crisis as sales of their cars continue to decline. The Los Angeles Auto Show is the first major North American auto show of the season, and runs from November 21, to November 30. The show will also feature other interesting world car debuts from Lexus, BMW, Cadillac, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercury and Pontiac, with concept cars by Hyundai, Kia, Saab and Toyota.

Lamborghini Diablo - Beauty loving nature

With its 5.7 liter V-12 engine this Lamborghini car can rev up to 250km/h in just 10 seconds. Being part of the Lamborghini family this car is charaterised by a square broad look and a aireofoil at the back gives it enough stability specialy when it is traveling at cruising speeds at its top best. Being one of the earliest siblings of the Murciélago and the Gallardo family this car certainly genertates a guzzling experience for car fanatics who want to enjoy the spirit of Lamborgini.

Imagine yourself sitting with your loved one and crusing through the Alps at high speed. Doesn’t it beautifully contrast with the yellow color of your Diablo and the white alps? Being one beast of a machine this car beautifully belongs within nature. But be sure to apply the brakes at a slower speed. The traction control of Diablo’s tires is strong enough to crack open the road.
